Cyberpunk 2077 Celebrates Fifth Anniversary with New XR Glasses
Cyberpunk 2077, the popular RPG developed by CD Projekt RED, has come a long way since its release on December 10, 2020. Despite a rocky start, the game has evolved into one of the most beloved RPGs of all time, thanks to numerous updates and a major paid expansion. To commemorate its fifth anniversary, CD Projekt RED has announced a surprise collaboration with VITURE, resulting in a new range of Cyberpunk 2077-inspired XR glasses.
Introducing the Luma Cyber XR Glasses
The Luma Cyber XR glasses are a limited-edition release, with only 10,000 serialized units available. These special glasses are designed to provide an immersive gaming experience, featuring a 152-inch virtual display, 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,500 nits of brightness. The glasses are compatible with major handheld devices, including the Steam Deck, MSI Claw 8 AI+, and ASUS ROG Ally.
The Luma Cyber XR glasses are engineered to work seamlessly with the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock, which is sold separately. This dock enables immersive support for the Nintendo Switch 2, making it an attractive option for gamers on-the-go. However, the glasses come with a hefty price tag of $549, making them a significant investment for fans of the game.
