Prime Video’s October 2026 slate mixes returning originals, new films and live sport. The headline additions are the second season of The Terminal List, the first-ever series adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie, and the NBA’s debut on the platform.
The key dates
Carrie arrived October 7, adapted for television for the first time by showrunner Mike Flanagan and starring Summer H. Howell as Carrie White and Samantha Sloyan as her mother Margaret. Helluva Boss season 3 and the romantic drama Love of Your Life landed October 14. Masterplan, a heist film starring Stanley Tucci, arrived October 16.
The Terminal List season 2, starring Chris Pratt, premieres October 21. Apocalypse Z 2 closes the month on October 31.
Sport
Thursday Night Football continues weekly, with New England Patriots at Chicago Bears on October 22. The NBA tips off on Prime Video with back-to-back Friday night doubleheaders starting October 23 — New York Knicks at Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. ET, then Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs at 9:30 p.m. ET. A second Friday doubleheader follows October 30. NWSL and Seattle Kraken games are also part of the October schedule.
What this means for subscribers
Nothing on this list changes your subscription price. The October additions are included with Prime Video in the United States, though some titles such as Scream 7 and The Bride! may be offered as rentals or purchases rather than included content — check the listing before you assume a title is free with your subscription.
What we did not do
We did not verify prices, regional availability outside the United States, or whether individual titles are included versus paid. Availability varies by market and can change.
